Next-Generation Thunderbolt 5 Performance

With support for Thunderbolt 5’s 80Gb/s bi-directional bandwidth, and up to 120Gb/s in Bandwidth Boost mode, the TS5 Plus enables high-performance workflows and supports bandwidth-heavy tasks like 8K video editing and multi-monitor setups. PCIe 4.0 performance has doubled to 64Gb/s, allowing SSDs to reach transfer speeds of up to 6,200MB/s.

Connect Three Displays on Windows

Windows users with Thunderbolt 5 can connect up to three external displays: two via downstream Thunderbolt ports and one via DisplayPort. The dock supports 4K 144Hz displays and high refresh rate monitors, automatically prioritising display bandwidth when needed.

Full-Speed Charging at 140W

The TS5 Plus provides up to 140W of consistent host charging, ideal for laptops like the 16" MacBook Pro with M-series Pro or Max chips. Unlike other docks that redistribute power when peripherals are added, the TS5 Plus maintains full charging capacity at all times.

10 High-Speed USB Ports

Equipped with 10 USB ports, including USB-A and USB-C, every port supports 10Gb/s data speeds and 7.5W charging. A front-facing USB-C port offers 36W, suitable for tablets or accessories, and both Thunderbolt downstream ports also support 36W output. Dual USB controllers ensure reliable performance across multiple connected devices.

Built-In 10Gb Ethernet

Featuring an integrated 10Gb Ethernet port, the TS5 Plus delivers up to 10x faster network speeds compared to traditional 1GbE docks. It’s compatible with 10GbE, 5GbE, 2.5GbE and 1GbE networks, removing the need for separate Thunderbolt-to-Ethernet adapters.

UHS-II SD & microSD Support

Both SD and microSD 4.0 card readers are front-facing for easy access and support UHS-II performance. They can be used simultaneously, making the dock ideal for media professionals handling large files or working with multiple cards.

Thoughtful Design for Tidy Setups

The rear-positioned Thunderbolt 5 host port enables cleaner cable management. The dock can be used vertically or horizontally and includes offline charging via USB-A and USB-C ports. A free macOS utility allows one-click disconnection of all external drives.

The TS5 Plus works with Thunderbolt 5, Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 3, USB4 and USB4 v2 devices. It's compatible with M1–M4 Pro, Max and Ultra Macs, Intel Thunderbolt 3 Macs, supported Windows PCs, and Thunderbolt-enabled iPads. CalDigit also provides a driver enabling Apple SuperDrive use via the dock.
